Bandeirantes Palace

Today Sao Paulo Tours goes to Bandeirantes palace, the headquarters of São Paulo's government and home of São Paulo state governor, currently mr. Geraldo Alckmin. The building is placed at Morumbi avenue, besides Vinicius de Moraes square.

The interior of the building can be visited in guided tours, from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm. No entrance fare is charged. The visitor will know the official auditoriums and see sculptures and paintings of the former governors.

There are permanent art exhibitions, either religious art from colonial period and modern art. Famous artists pieces can be seen such as Aleijadinho and Candido Portinari.
